UNIQUE MANUFACTURING
The key to our success is a unique production method that applies Nobel Prize–winning technology to the fermentation process. We select the most efficient, naturally occurring microorganisms so our strains do more with less—all without any artificial genetic modification. This sustainable production system consists of three different technologies:
- Super-resolved fluorescence microscope technology sorts through millions of yeast and bacteria colonies to identify the best performers. This technology is the reason why there is no artificial genetic modification. We’re able to select the most efficient strains, not make them.
- Comparative genetics tags key traits in the strains for comparison against yeast and bacteria known for their efficiency. These special strains are then grown using standard practices.
- Proprietary sensors monitor the fermentation process and let us optimize the raw materials in real time.
